Yes, we have won the award for the best english paper of the 4th Conference on Professional Knowledge Management - Experiences and visions!!! Our paper is entitled "A Case for Integrated Knowledge Management: Experiences from an International Financial Institute" and its abstract is as follows:

Abstract. Many organizations pursue knowledge management (KM) initiatives, with different degrees of success. One key aspect of KM often neglected in practice is that it not only concerns technology. Technology merely provides the tools with which employees can leverage their knowledge in the context of their work. In this article, we analyze a KM initiative in an international financial institute to demonstrate the importance of a context-specific and integrated approach to KM.

Great news: My little sister is going to marry this year's summer

Marion and Andreas have announced yesterday that they are going to marry on September 1 on Juist! They have already booked both the registry office and the church. It's gonna be a pretty small and familial wedding with about 20 guests. Therefore, Eike and I have already booked another week of vacations on Juist; after one week end of June we will stay again in the Strandhotel Kurhaus Juist in August/September.

First Easter with Charlotte

Charlotte is of course still our sweet little sunshine. She is growing pretty fast and after some weeks of "speaking" to us quite often she is now rather still again. The second scheduled pediatrist visit (for the U4) went excellent, even the first vaccinations did not impress Charlotte too much. The next event will be the baby swimming course that we three will attend from next Saturday on.

Aunt Marion and nearly-uncle Andy are going to visit us today. We have spent this Easter weekend at home in Kronberg because we will celebrate Charlotte's baptism in two weeks in Marienfeld and Oerlinghausen.

Also congratulations and all the best to JB and Kristina! Kristina gave birth to their son Linus end of March.
